AxG AI Store Sales Assistant ("we", "our", or "the App") connects to your Shopify store to provide an intelligent AI sales concierge. We collect and process the following categories of data:

• Merchant & Store Data: Shop domain, store title, primary currency, country, and active theme settings needed for widget rendering.
• Product Catalog Data: Product titles, descriptions, handles, tags, prices, availability, and image URLs to generate real-time shopping recommendations.
• Order Lookup Data: Order status, fulfillment details, and tracking numbers queried in real-time when a store customer provides their order number inside the chat widget.
• Customer Chat Interaction Logs: Anonymous user messages, product clicks, and chat transcripts stored temporarily to provide analytics in your Shopify Admin dashboard.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected data strictly for providing and improving the App service:

• To answer customer inquiries 24/7 with accurate catalog and order information.
• To display conversational analytics, popular customer searches, and sentiment reports to store owners.
• To facilitate visual product search ("Search by Photo") and rich product carousel recommendations.

We NEVER sell, rent, or share merchant or customer data with third-party advertisers or data brokers.

3. AI Processing & Infrastructure Security

AI response processing is performed using high-speed Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure located in europe-west3 (Frankfurt, EU).

All interactions utilize enterprise-grade API endpoints with strict zero-data retention for model training. Neither Google nor AxG AI Studio uses your store's proprietary catalog or customer inquiries to train public foundational models.

4. GDPR, Data Retention & Mandatory Webhooks

Our App fully supports European Union GDPR and global data privacy standards through automated Shopify Privacy Compliance Webhooks:

• customers/data_request: Returns any stored customer interaction logs.
• customers/redact: Purges specific customer interaction logs upon request.
• shop/redact: Automatically deletes all stored merchant configuration and logs within 30 days of uninstalling the app.
